The Haverford Hawks are hosting a March Mite Tournament. The Tournament will have Mite A, Mite B, and Mite C (traditional 4v4) divisions.

Trophies and medals for all finalists in each division.
Games
How many games will they play?
3 game guarantee with a maximum of 4 games.
Jerseys
Are jerseys provided or are they purchased separately?
No. Teams will wear their club jerseys (bring both home and away).

Tournament Rules
- Mite A, Mite B and Mite C Division, 4 on 4 play with a goalie in net (traditional 1/2 ice Mite format)
- 1 referee and 1 scorekeeper per game
- Each game will consist of two 25-minute periods with running clock, 1 minute break between periods. (No timeouts)
- After a goal or if the puck is frozen by a goalie, defending team will start with puck behind their net, offensive team must retreat to the blue line and wait on referee’s whistle to start forecheck.
- All penalties will be a penalty shot without a stoppage of clock. After the penalty shot, play will resume behind the net of the goal that was shot on. Defensive team gets possession; the team that took the shot does not retain possession.
- Blue pucks will be used.
- All games are sanctioned by USA Hockey therefore, all USA Hockey rules apply.
- Rosters are frozen by the first game.
- First 3 games are round robin play. Teams will then be seeded based on round results (2 points for a win, 1 point for a tie). Then 1st vs 2nd will play in a final championship game for each division. If the championship game is tied, there will be a 5-minute sudden death period, before 3 player shootout. If still tied, teams will continue shootout utilizing all players, away team shoots first.
- Standings tie breakers:
- 1) head-to-head
- 2) goal differential
- 3) goals for
- 4) goals against
- All teams will play 3 games minimum, 2 teams from each bracket will qualify for a 4th and final championship game.
- Trophy will be awarded to the champion in each division, all finalists receive medals.
