Guidance
Specific guidance for the Haverford Hawks:
- Skate tying
- All 12U coaches are required to inform all skaters to tie their own skates after Thanksgiving. For special situations a parent may ask a coach.
- Unique Hawks Events
- 6U / 8U -Skate with Santa (No additional charge)
- 8U – Mitey Mites Tournament (No additional charge)
- 8U to 18U – 1 away tournament paid for by club (No additional charge)
- 12U to 14U – Finland Exchange
- Release Policy
- A signed Player/Parent Club Agreement is a legal contract that includes the financial commitment to the club.
- The Club does have a Release Request policy but that doesn’t mean the family is automatically released.
- The process begins when the family sends an email to President@HaverfordHawks.com requesting the reason why.
- The Executive Committee makes a decision in accordance with Atlantic Affiliate ByLaws which is then communicated to the family along with the affiliate appeal process, if necessary.
- Only the Club President has the authority to sign the affiliate release waiver.
